This is the endgame of anti-trans and broader anti-LGBTQ+ bigotry. Trans people are a fraction of a minority. The broader LGBTQ+ spectrum is also small enough that in a more repressive society we can be (and have historically been) erased and ignored as long as we are kept quiet by fear.
The endgame is to police you. It is to police your gender expression. To police your behavior. To police how you can interact with others. Anti-trans bigotry is more anti-women, as it tries to enforce a radical and oppressively rigid gender binary that there will be huge social consequences for deviating from. Broader homophobia is aimed more at policing men's expression and behavior, to pressure men to be traditionally masculine and maintain femininity's inferiority.
If a trans person can be labeled as not woman enough, so can you. And so will you, as OP found out today. If being a little effeminate makes a transman not man enough, so too will it for cismen.
This is why it's so important even for cis and straight people to support the LGBTQ+ community. When they're done with us, they'll come for you.
