I consider it a good protest with my dollars, but also a long term value based investment decision. Similar to how if you believe the world will move away from oil and gas, it makes sense to divest those from your portfolio.
Most investors aren’t picking individual stocks, but rather funds with a wide portfolio. I wish it was easier for the average investor to customize to say “not this company”.
