Fell into a Wikipedia hole that started with one of my favorite books from childhood, Black and Blue Magic, and then went into the life of its author Zilpha Keatley Snyder, who apparently wrote a popular videogame in the 1980s based on her book Below the Root ... and then the guys who produced that game went on to work on the Zelda games, inspired partly by Snyder's work????
