hmm.
I think OMAD and similar are good training wheels for controlling your eating if it's been out of control and you've gotten quite fat. Larger meals satiate and fewer meals result in a hard cutoff that is easy to follow - and only surprisingly easy because people never try to fast and don't know how easy fasting is in general.
But after 2-3 years of eating an entire day's worth of calories in 3-5 hours, I don't think I need the training wheels anymore and would rather have 2-3 reasonable meals. When "satiate yourself so you don't keep wanting to eat" is less urgent, it becomes more reasonable to want

>better digestion = less nutrition is wasted
>lower insulin spikes, eating is less of a burden on the body (AKA easier digestion)
I also have vague suspicions that exercise works better with more meals, and that part of the reason I've lost a bit of muscle is from doing high-HR aerobics without some recent carbs to fuel that.
