I think I need a long break. Like from a lot of things. I guess some would call it a vacation.

We haven't done what I grew up thinking was a vacation pretty much ever since having kids (I can think of maybe 2 weeks over those 12.5 years*). No reading books on the beach even though we live near the coast. No reading books next to a fire in the snow even though we live near mountains.

Sigh.

* My wife would prob. disagree w/ this number but we have diff. definitions of vacation.
