much of why Mario Wonder feels better to play comes from not having "floaty" physics like most of the 3D side scrolling Mario games (left). Once you stop pressing move button, it takes a while for Mario to stop moving, making it fall platforms very often. Wonder is much more precise like the pixel 2D Mario games.
