Give up the chiro imo, does more harm than good. What helped me recover was doing more aerobic work between the heavier jobs. Like, even something like splitting fire wood with an axe between bucking up logs with the chainsaw. Bending over with the saw is absolutely brutal on my back. Splitting some quality oak or hardwood gets you moving in all the right places and loosens up those vertebrae better than a table adjustment.
