Public posts can be "like" lots of things; they can be whatever we decide. I want them to be many things, especially because a ton of people I'd like to be comfortable here aren't, because when they post they're swamped by strangers who share no social context with them yelling that they're wrong/explaining their jokes back to them/being racist and misogynist.

I wouldn't tolerate that in person and I can't ask them to tolerate it here, so I want it to change.
