It is impossible to win an argument intellectually when the argument at its core is emotional and ideological. Therefore, in order to engage with the insanity of "I don't need anyone telling me what to do", we must tell powerful stories, not make logical arguments that will simply be ignored.

But governments cant possibly be making up climate data. What possible incentive could they have other than emergency powers, higher taxes, and the increased ability to control peoples lives and businesses due to a pressing crisis?

I have to preface my response by the fact that I do believe in a benevolent monarchy, but not a strictly human one since I am a Christian that believes that there is no other correct leader but Christ. But, I will now to no other human.
