not an expert here, but I think that the inability to delete a note once published to #Nostr , while sometimes annoying, is also a byproduct of the published note having been spread across independent, decentralized nodes rather than published within a central platform with user accounts.
so it's not so much a feature people want, but a tolerable sacrifice for the sake of decentralization.
