Other websites get links in stories, but Twitter, at least until recently, used to get full embeds in a lot of news outlets. Still do at many.
That's a privileged position that no other website had. And I'm glad to see that it's starting to go away now. But I wonder if that's connected to the journalist's feelings about Twitter?
