Shantell Powell (nprofile…8kxt) I mostly avoid all audio-only media because it takes me a significant effort to follow them, so it's something I only do if it's really interesting and there are no other options. They definitely require me to be doing something relatively mindless with my hands, however (such as knitting, handsewing, etc.)

I can however listen to video with subtitles while doing things and not constantly watching the subtitles (but I do glance at them every time I've missed a word or something).

I also routinely watch videos without doing other things, either with visual content or just some person talking. I still prefer to have subtitles on.

I also talk with people, and it's something that I enjoy, but is also a pretty tiring activity, so I need some rest time afterwards.
