All these years of technical writing can make it tough to read other people's documents because you notice ticks or other common mistakes and you mentally get your red pen out.
In this instance, I'm reading the latest NIST cybersecurity framework (CSF) document, and all the passive voice sentences in the definitions for the CSF core functions are really distracting.
