Plus .38S is a dependable round, you don't need to use all 6 unless the assailant is drugged out his mind. At that point even a magazine 9mm with 12+1 wouldnt do you much good anyways.
.45 is good though, but the m1911 being 8 round mag is mega home of sexual. I prefer the B HP 10x .40 SW
