Hey #gardening and #permaculture gurus of Mastodon... I have some big patches of Sarcococca hookeriana var. humilis, non-native dwarf sweet box, doing well in U.S. east coast zone 7, full shade, unamended dirt.
Is it good for anything, other than occupying shady space as an evergreen low groundcover? And if not, what good team player could make better use of that niche?
