I'm 52 now and the idea of retiring by 65 looks less each day - tech may 'pay' but it typically has minimal pension contributions compared to the huge amounts the public sector gains (and the final salaries that used to exist).
It seems that no matter which direction I go, the government wants me working until I drop dead, for an economy that favours big companies and not employees.
Such is life.
