An Australian farmer who had sheep under solar raised a extra point I hadn't considered, the morning dew condenses along the panels and falls along the drip line providing him with extra feed in times of drought, he said it really helped. (Not his farm in the photo)

I was reminded of those South Americans, high in the mountains that used fine nets to catch the mist similarly to collect water.

It's why I am appalled when we clear the bush for solar farms here in Australia, we have farmland and endless acres of roofs (commercial, Industrial, shopping centers, homes) to fill up yet, let alone endless amounts of desert here in Aus. Eg around Eromanga which still extracts a little oil and has infrastructure (roads, a small town, workers to transition etc)
