I am a big fan of Kathy Bates and absolutely loved her in the brief series "Harry's Law"! I also enjoyed Matlock, the original series with Andy Griffith. It was extremely clever and entertaining.

I watched the first 2 episodes of the new "Matlock" expecting brilliance! Believe what you will from all of the hype coming from CBS ...

but I will not be watching the 3rd episode. IT STINKS. Each episode had multiple Kathy Bates references to her name "Matlock, like the old one on TV". It's not clever, it's not interesting and darn well not worth another hour of my time!

CBS .. you F'ed up when you dropped Blue Bloods (great show). You did it again when you put "Matlock" in your fall lineup!
