If you have to tell me when to laugh, and pad your runtime with predictable pauses, you’re not actually that funny.

Make me laugh so hard in the middle of a line I have to pause your show and wheeze. Use the amount of pauses during your show, which the streaming service is absolutely tracking to gauge how actually funny you are.

Or how small my bladder is.
