Walking by a house when a big vicious looking dog started snarling, barking and running toward me, cleary in attack mode.

I stopped, knelt down, and in a calm, friendly voice said, "Good Job, Good Dog."

The dog immediately stopped barking and with its tail now wagging, happily got some pats and walked away. 🐕
