I found the whole learning curve a bit tough for bringing newbies to the Nostr. So what I did is recommended Lifpay.me and Primal.net combo. This helped bring few friends on Nostr.
Unlike other crypto social networks like say Kaichi, Hive, Steem and Grillapp you would find that Nostr is a bit technically heavy for the new comers. If they are struggling with computers they will struggle with Nostr.
