Yeah at monstercat we built a system in house that got rid of paper contracts, then we could actually pay artists monthly which was a big deal to enable our artists to focus on production full time. Was shocked this wasn't even close to an industry standard at the time. Also mechanical royalties are insane, just wanted to get that off my chest while im here.
