GM Nostr. I celebrated thanksgiving yesterday (a bit early, I know). 🦃
Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday. For me, it’s all memories of family, good food, falling asleep while watching football with an overly full belly, lively and sometimes intense discussions, and it’s nearly entirely devoid of the consumerism panic of Christmas.
A few things I’m really thankful for this lap around:
- Nostr & Bitcoin. The degree to which I feel like I’ve found my tribe over the last year cannot be overstated. Thanks PABLOF7z (npub1l2v…ajft) for confirming I wasn’t crazy (or at least that we’re both crazy 😅)
- Freedom tech. Obviously Nostr & Bitcoin are in this category but more broadly, I’m grateful that there are people who care about building a more free future and are willing to fight for it. I know what I’m working on for the rest of my life. Which is an amazing feeling. Thanks ODELL (npub1qny…95gx) for everything you do.
- So many new friends that have become an important part of my life in a short amount of time. I haven’t been this bullshit on the future in many years (while also knowing we’ve got some shit to go through on our way). In all cases, I’m here for it.
