I see people use terms like "misinformation" and "misconception" when what they really mean is "disinformation" and "deception". And while I appreciate the positivity of giving these people the benefit of the doubt, is it even plausible that doctors and public health officials have so little knowledge? Even if they are ignorant the word for that is "negligent", not "misinformed".
The data is overwhelmingly clear that they're wrong. There's no room for the kind of errors they're making.
