The UN agency for Palestine refugees (UNRWA) said yesterday that water shortages have reached 85 per cent in Deir Al-Balah, central Gaza Strip, with only three out of 18 wells functioning in the city due to the ongoing Israeli war.
“Not only are people in Gaza in constant fear for their lives, but they struggle to meet even their most basic needs,” the agency said on X.
