this is my conclusion as well. especially knowing how movies from previous generations still hold up extremely well.
modern movies feel plagued with over produced hype and an intention to keep me on dopamine drip. kind of like the IG or X experience, an obvious scheme on the audience, and an easy spot pattern for those that see it for what it is.
