Can confirm that it’s miserable in Yokohama. 40°C doesn’t seem too bad to Arizonans, but humidity is over 60%.
In the nineties Yokohama averaged 9 days over 30. Last year it was 38. So far this year it’s 35 with hottest months to come.
Summer in this area used to be fun. Now we just suffer. Even taking mass transit is terrible.
