Both the main Edinburgh TV Festival MacTaggart Lecture (by James Graham, writer of Sherwood) & the 'alternative Mactaggart (by campaigner, and all round good thing, Carol Voorderman) focussed on the problem of class based exclusion from the industry & the dominance of a cultural agenda driven by the privileged, the rich & the right wing media.
Surely, now must be the time to do something about the skewed class character of our 'culture industries'?
