Hay River is without telecomm. services as fire threatens that community. #Canada has experienced >5500 wildfires this year, burning over 13 M hectares; 6x the annual average, and fire season's not over yet!
The cost to mitigate the effects of #ClimateChange is high. The cost of doing nothing is much, much higher.
