I don't think this century will be anywhere near as violent as the previous one. Exploration will be directed inwards. Biology will attract the brightest and bravest minds instead of physics. It has to be done because physical limits appear to be too difficult to transcend. Planes don't fly faster, and the space exploration had stalled, replaced by Hollywood movies. The vision of infinitely growing power of machinery is quickly revealed to be fakery. Fuel production stalled too, and the ruling class tells you to keep your thermostats at a reasonable level.
How lame is that, eh? We need to redirect our desires into a different field. Most people around you will remain stuck in the system where they will die. If you noticed, you have a chance to tap into a living energy, and escape. No new drug or vaccine will cure AIDS, cancer or corona. The preoccupation with money and economizing and the hierarchy associated with them is the main reason why cures cannot be allowed to emerge.
Depression and most other psychological disorders are likely a symptom of poisoning and disruption of living energy flows. When you're in good health, living in a dying world feels great.
