I have no idea 🤔 I'm sure I wrote something as a kid, though I preferred to act out stories with my toys.
So, the first story I *can* remember was a high-fantasy world with jackal-like monsters that infected other people as if they were zombies. I wrote that for an English write-up, then later decided to write a whole book out of that.
"A whole book" meaning a 60-page mess of shallow characters and nearly inexistent world-building lol
