For this recipe, I steeped the matcha tea powder in olive oil and coconut oil for 24 hours. (I warmed it slightly in a double boiler first.) Then, I added the other half of the fats (tallow) to make the soap.
I added about 1 tsp of the oily matcha powder into the soap with the essential oils just before pouring it into the mold.
