That is honestly IMHO a double edged sword. On the one hand you would be improving the quality of life for people on a small town. It would change a lot of lives and improve things. Revolutionizing the local economy for a better future.

However when you live in the uk under their rule. You are always a serf no matter how rich you are. Anything you do can be taken away in an instant and the beurocracy there is absolutely insane.

This is my freedom loving American perspective. Knowing people who are close to me who live there. I would never step foot there if my intention was to do a start up business. As too much of my money would have to be stolen from me in order to live there in peace.

I do not know how the non-profit business structures work over there. So this may not be a factor. It is a risky business venture. However, with great risk comes potentially greater rewards as well as monumental failures.

You will have to determine your own comfort level in a risk assesment of your overall situation.
