Tbh for me it always felt unusable. I've never been able to ignore the thought about user growth and what it would do to a global feed.
So, I'm not really sad to see it become a spamfest, following your favourite accounts in combination with connections to relays from your desired bubbles is the way to go for Nostr users imo.
