Pro-lifers in #Alberta are really mad that Canadian physicians get informed consent from medical patients based on their capacity to understand the procedure and risks being done to their own body (for ALL procedures, not just abortion), rather than from the patient's "owner". Guardians are involved in the case of reduced capacity, regardless of age.

Especially when that patient is a woman, whom they think shouldn't be granted her own bodily autonomy in this #Patriarchy.
