I've been here since 2016 and am vain enough to value having a tangible reminder of being an early adopter.
I understand why some people find a local timeline interesting / useful - but it isn't for me.
Moderation here seems adequate. Uptime is fine. As a/the flagship instance it is unlikely to disappear without notice.
No-one has made a compelling case as to why I should join their niche instance.
