In my own way, I will 💜🥹🫂
Cultural thing (buddhism for me) but also I’ve wanted to go like this before I even knew much about my culture, which could be a coincidence…. But I doubt it. I thought about this a lot since I was a kid. I Also resonate a lot with Hinduism.
I believe that my soul is tied to my body for a small period of time (my life) and that once my time has come and I’ve fulfilled my karma in this life I’ve got to let this body go so I can truly let my soul be free and reborn into something new. No attachments to earth - though I will always love my family, I will carry my love for them no matter where I go, I know this for certain. I believe love transcends all.
I want to return to the source - the universe. They say we’re made of stars ✨. I’d like to be a star somewhere out there.
Definitely not saying it’s the right way to do it though 🫂 just that this is the way I’ve always wanted to go 💜
