I have always disliked WordPress for it complexity, but had to learn it again a few years ago to support someone and can now tolerate it. I'm seeing people here telling other people to abandon Substack (good), but saying they should instead have a blog on something like WordPress. The latter ain't gonna happen without a lot of support.
