We’ve all had those experiences where something happens, a health scare, the breakdown of a relationship, a legal drama, etc. and it feels like your whole life just stops and waits for this issue to reach resolution. It’s a really, really common thing, but I think it means you’re kinda doing life wrong.
You can’t go around waiting for everything to be perfect, for all the pieces to be in place, for you to somehow be “good enough”, or have “arrived” etc. That’s just not how it works, life is always a mess. There is always something out of place. Your life will never be “just right.”
You have to live each day knowing that things aren’t okay. But that has the benefit of getting you to really focus on the important things. Everything is always up in the air and knowing that, holding it, makes you live soulfully, it makes you move with purpose whether you are walking the dog or trying to cure cancer.
