Given the (reasoned) argument that timezone be derived from event location, is there really enough merit in denormalising when the same effect can be achieved by doing said derivation at the display step? If the UTC timestamp gets turned into a human friendly date+time+timezone/location in the UI, changing the timezone should not impact the date & time fields. Saving the updated information then again turns it into a UTC timestamp.
