quoting note1lej…ufq9I played a commercial gig a few days ago and “Son Of Mr. Green Genes” (from “Hot Rats” 1969) by Frank Zappa is one of the songs I had to learn 🎵I am pretty guilty of not having checked out Zappa’s discography a lot, but it must have been intimidating to play or tour with this guy. The sound of the band is what the late 60s and 70s zeitgeist is all about! This serves as a reminder for me to spend more time listening to Mr. Zappa! 💜 💜 💜
