so anyway i went to Best Buy to kill time and they had 98" Samsung TV there for $3,999
this size TV used to be over $10,000 only 3 years ago !
it wasn't a 8K TV though and i am only interested in 8K ...
but 98" is headed towards mainstream !
and much faster than i thought it would !
a screen like that is nice to have for movies like Dune.
what happened is they had free loaners so i took one
but because i took the loaner they put me in the back of the line behind everybody who was waiting at the dealership and didn't take the loaner
but i forgot my keys in the car so i couldn't actually get to my computer at home and instead had to find other places to hang out ... FOR FIVE HOURS
what a clusterfuck ...
