None of this is to absolve or defend Reddit -- I think the way Reddit acted here is unconscionable. At least Elon had the courtesy to be direct and kill the apps (as shitty as that was) and not double-speak people for months when they could have been evaluating their business options. In a world of terrible options, I truly think the way Reddit did it was worse. They acted like they were friendly and then snapped. And then slandered the best third-party dev they had.
