I asked a group of B.A. students (pre-service foreign language teachers) which search engines they regularly use to search the web. At first, they all said "Google" (and nothing else). Then one added "but not so much now because I prefer ChatGPT". I asked how they searched the web with #ChatGPT and the answer was: "I ask my question and I get the answer". Then I asked which other search engines, apart from Google, they were aware of.
