But also that glimpse into an old civilisation is another reminder that we really haven't made much progress in all those millennia. There were really poor people then, even slaves, and very rich people, and I hope that will be shocking to future civilizations, but at the moment we are still in the same old systems of dominance and control by the richest, to a degree that is probably much, much worse than what the Roman had.
