Last night I dreamt we'd moved house, but then remembered we left the cats behind.
I rushed back there, fearing they had not survived, but when I arrived I had no key.
As I stood there helplessly, my beloved Sixie came up to the window, and I put my hand on the pane.
The cats have been left behind; I cannot reach them. My only contact is through the window pane of my memory.
