This anhinga (Anhinga anhinga) was definitely objecting to being able to see me, the bird flew away seconds after taking this photo. Hmmm ... that's not right, the bird didn't take the photo ... so it flew away seconds after I took the photo. I saw this bird at a secluded pond in Albany, Georgia. It is the first that I've had the opportunity to see relatively up close. This one is either a female or immature bird. I took a lot of photos of the bird, so you can count on seeing them spread out over the next year or so.
