I have met so many beautiful immigrants to Canada over the past few months - from Morocco, Yemen, Cambodia, Belgium, Mexico, and Colombia to name a few. They are all wide eyed, excited, eager; filled with hopes and dreams similar to the ones I had when I finally made it back here a decade ago.
But Canada has profoundly changed.
I feel like they were sold a story that died in the early 2010's. It’s not about unity in diversity anymore; it’s about uniformity or self-censorship. It’s about covert control through money printer go burrrr; worse than the US. It’s no longer the Canada to which my grandparent emigrated, the country I grew up in, or spent years dreaming of returning to on my own terms.
Over the past decade, my pride in being Canadian has transformed into the understanding that borders, gatekeepers, regulation, and nationalism are ego-invented means to mentally, emotionally, energetically, and physically limit and control our natural-born freedom as humans; citizens of Earth.
I sincerely hope the amazing people I met find what they are looking for here. I know many of them have found peace after losing everything; their homes, their belongings, and even loved ones. I am so grateful that they now have a haven where their physical lives are no longer in danger.
I just hope they do not experience other forms of abuse while living in Canada; more of the systemically-induced mental / emotional / gaslighting kind; we all know where fiat slavery is headed... Fiat is the systemic embodiment of duality; the illusion we are all disconnected.
The truth is, we are all one.
The light I saw in their eyes is our natural state; Bitcoin is systemically bringing us back to our natural state. I am excited for a world where everywhere is like Canada 10 years ago - united in diversity - and where woke is a meaningless word.
I can only strive to embody the change I wish to see in the world and Canada is no longer in alignment with what I would like to experience in this lifetime. So it's time for me to leave - at least for now. I am excited and grateful to experience the unfolding of this new chapter ✨
