Don’t get sucked into the hw rabbit hole too much. The devices are there because the threats are real (rare) and trade offs need to be made to address them. (Being cost prohibitive to hijack)
If the tradeoffs seem too “out there” that is fine, look down that rabbit hole when you need to. From a security standpoint purely on HW, Coldcard is an overkill device locked down to be tolerant to a variety of imaginative attacks-for pretty much anyone and Seedsigner is probably as basic as one can get. Complete opposite ends of the spectrum
Like anything with bitcoin, start with basics and work yourself upward as you practice. The whole seedsigner and coldcard thing really shouldn’t matter but people say stupid things like Secure Elements are useless which is plainly not true. If you’re happy with your level 1 hardware wallet, stick with it. Revisit at a later block height to see what best to do with your utxos 🥳
