Subsidies are immoral anyway. The goal should be reduce subsidies rather than implement them.

Subsidies used to poach companies does nothing to increase jobs but simply relocates them one location to another, all at the expense and detriment of the general taxpayer.

I had worked on a state compact to prohibit subsidies between member states. So if a state joined, it couldn't try to poach them from other member states.

Kansas and Missouri (my home) were in discussions but COVID ended up killing that conversation and it unfortunately hasn't started again.
